ABOUT ACTORS UNITED
Actors United was created by Chris in 2020 as a table read group consisting of actors around the world who come together bi-weekly to connect, read various scripts and participate in a group discussion to better understand the material and acting choices.
The purpose of this group is to supplement the training actors already do in class, while being able to network with actors in various places.
As of 2023, the group has grown to 200+ members and continues to evolve in its offerings in order to improve every year. Although it went on hiatus in 2022, it will be back later in 2023.
WHY I STARTED THE AU
"A big part of acting for me is the opportunity to connect with other amazing creatives. This is why, in 2020, I started a table read group. The purpose of the group was to bring actors together in order to practice the art we love while being able to grow our community.
Our very first table read consisted of eight people and we read the pilot of "How to Get Away With Murder". Fast forward to 2022, and the group grew to 200+ members from around the world including USA, U.K., Philippines and India. AU is always evolving, and I look forward to seeing what happens next!"
