CAMH campaign appears on billboards across the GTA

In 2021, I shot a print campaign for the The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH). It is part of the Not Suicide. Not Today. campaign which highlights suicide prevention and research into more ways to save lives. As an advocate for mental health and wellness as well as trauma healing, this was an absolute honour to be a part of.

Little did I know, this was bigger than I initially imagined. It all started when I received a text from my friend Anna with a picture of a random billboard sign. When I zoomed in on the image, I noticed that this billboard featured an image of... me? Throughout the next several weeks, I received several subsequent messages from friends who sent me their own snaps of the billboard campaign in different parts of the GTA. The picture even appeared on bus ads and newspapers! To say I am proud to have been attached to this is an understatement.

This campaign is still going on - please visit https://www.camh.ca/en/health-info/crisis-resources/i-am-worried-about-someone-i-know or the https://www.camh.com (CAMH website) itself to learn more about and find resources on suicide prevention as well as other mental health topics.
