So this is a really awesome one! There's a really good show on Netflix called The Last Kingdom which features a protagonist named Uhtred (Alexander Dreymon) who is a Saxon that grows up as a Viking. Therefore, his accent is very interesting as Alexander basically created a mishmash of a British accent and a sort of Scandinavian accent.
Prior to becoming an actor, I would do impressions of Uhtred for fun. In 2020 when I started my acting journey, I also created comedy skits on Instagram. Some of those skits involved my impressions of The Last Kingdom characters. Surprisingly to me, these skits started gaining recognition and people actually liked my Uhtred impression!! Around this time, I also became good friends with two of the stars of the show.
Fast forward to 2023, I collaborated on a TLK skit with Eliza, who plays Queen Aelswith, and Mark Rowley (Finan) which amassed about 70k views on IG!
Due to this viewership, the organizers of a convention in the USA called Pinkieswear Productions invited me to work as a host for the opening/closing ceremonies as well as to moderate panels for The Last Kingdom and The Winter King at their Kicass Event. This will take place on April 26-28th in Topsfield, MA. The event will feature actors from Vikings Valhalla, The Last Kingdom, Outlander, The Tudors and The Winter King.
